What is the function of products made by ARASbDesign?

All our items are a work of art and are meant to be used solely as jewelry, office pieces, and/or decorative displays. None of the products are meant to be used to inflict harm in any way or cause violence. Please note that because the bullet casings are recycled, they are practically dysfunctional and cannot be used for their original purposes.

What material are the products made of and what will happen if products are not gold-plated?

All products are made of brass because they are designed out of recycled bullet shells/casings. They are also entirely lead-free. After designing the product is complete, the items are plated in gold, rose gold, and/or palladium for the finished look (note: all our wearable products are palladium plated by default). 

Without the palladium plating and/or gold-plating, the finished product will be brass only. All brass-finish products include a transparent top coat. Brass is a metal that is susceptible to oxidation when exposed to the elements, such as becoming matte, blurred, and blackened. Also, when worn, it can leave your skin green. Although the clear coating on a brass product may protect the brass from rapid oxidation, it does not provide long-term protection. Gold and/or palladium plating prevents all of the above from happening. This step also makes the final product glossy and durable.

Do the products contain allergenic or hazardous material?

Brass products can cause allergic reactions in some people. To reduce or eliminate such allergic reactions, all our wearable brass products are palladium plated by default and gold/ rose-gold plated upon order.

Are the rings for men or women?

ARASbDeisgn strives to create gender-neutral products. However, if you wish for a product to be in line with more feminine or masculine features, you can choose the suitable features at the time of order. These features may include the use of different designs, coloured ring stones, or gold plating.

​Are the rings hand-made? 

All the products on ARASbDesign, including rings, office supplies, and decorative accessories are hand-made by Ara, the designer and creator of all our items. The unique feature of ARASbDesign is that all items are assembled using weld-free techniques which result in sturdy and high-quality products!

Are the stones on all the rings replaceable?

No. The rings that have replaceable stones are specified in the description of each item in our shop. For the rings that provide this feature, the ONLY replaceable stone is the center stone and not the side stones. However, we may be able to offer different combinations of side stones depending on the market availability. Please contact the ARASbDesign team for inquiries.

What if something happens to my ring? 

We offer repairs within 60 days of purchase but we do not offer exchanges or replacements. A complete or partial repair is not guaranteed (The extent of any repair will depend on the features, aesthetics, and design of the product). Cost of repair (minimal or free of charge) will be determined after evaluation of the specifics and the requirements for the said repair. If determined unrepairable, full money will be returned to the customer. In addition, shipping fees are non-refundable. Products can be returned only in the country in which they were originally purchased. We will pay for shipment of repaired products to customer and customer will be responsible for return shipment of the product to us.

Why is the shop Order-based and what happens after I place an order?

Much care and calculation go into creating every single product available at ARASbDesign. There are many features per item that are customizable for our customers (e.g., stone color, plating, etc). Our wish is to make a product that is specifically for YOU. The production phase begins after an order is received.

How long before my item is ready and shipped? 

The time it takes for products to be finalized depends on the design, size, plating, and post-production factors. Some products take longer than others to be ready for shipment. Once your order is placed, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks to receive your item. We appreciate your patience as we create your product. For questions, you can contact the ARASbDesign team.

What are the shipping costs?

All products include free shipping. However, we do not offer free shipping for returns.

​What is your return policy?

​For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and original packaging within 14 days of the date you receive the product and we will offer a refund based upon the original payment method. The product must be in its original condition and packaging. We do not offer exchanges/replacements. Please contact the ARASbDesign team to arrange a refund.
